音楽 - Music:
ELECTRO COMMANDO 1 WELCOME TO PSICITY LABEL: PSI49NET 2CD SET
From the label of electro godfather Anthony Rother comes a compilation for
all situations and tastes. A punishing pace until it subsides at Boris Divider's chilling and futuristic track
"Terminal City". Later we find a new twist to the electro formula: a cold female
vocal dominates for the purists, but the track drops into some hot
scratching for a different effect.
The apocalyptic "God of the Gods" rounds off the first disc without compromise.
Lighter elements predominate the 2nd disc "Uptown." Notables include
Anthony Rother's remix of "Little Computer People" from his project of the
same name paying homage to his C64 roots, and NOVO's atmospheric "Strange Melody" that lifts the spirit and
brings a beat in to move you. The compilation also adds an organic,
sometimes pornographic edge to the electro sound with STUDIO's "In the
studio" However, robotic listeners can take shelter in SI-COM's "Lost Pli", a terrifying exception to the general
mood of disc2 and a reminder that androids walk among the humans.

Do you remember "M.u.s.c.l.e.", the little pink men toys from 80s?
It was originally from a Japanese cartoon called "Kinniku-man," which
literally means "Muscle-man".
The story's main-focus is on wrestling super heros not only wrestling,
but also telling kids about the importance of friendship, often
described as "Yujou Power (means friendship-power in Japanese)".
This "Kin niku-man II" is a story about son of Kin niku-man. Yujou Power
still saves the world!

The Earthling
The struggle between man and nature is a theme doggedly played out in storycraft since the beginning of time. It takes a special film to take the basic premise of survival in the wildenerness and bring it to a new level. It takes Peter colinson's 1980 tour-de-force "The Earthling" to bring this cliche to the next level of meaning.
You probably saw this one on cable when you were a kid. You know, the one where the RV flies off the edge of a cliff and young Ricky Schroeder is left alone to wander around the Australian outback. If you were lucky enough to see it on tape, you probably rewound and viewed the amazing RV dive over and over.
It is said that the Dickens classic Great Expectations should be read as a child, an adult, and in old age. This film is likewise worthy of a lifelong analysis. As a youth, it dazzles with images of wildlife, primevil forest, and an rv flying off a cliff. During the next phase of viewing, complex relationships and the artistic nuances of the cinematography unfold like a fresh butterfly shaking off a chrysalis-case. As old age and death loom imminent, one must surely pay more attention to the elderly Foley's coming to terms with his mortality than that rad RV cliffdive, though the desire to see that again and again may never fade.
This film, while being virtually eternally on cable in the mid 1980s is now quite a rare find. It was availalbe (with $200 deposit) from Scarecrow Video, and has not been released on DVD.
